Happy October, everyone!

Saying that one is going to draw more and actually doing it are two entirely different beasts. I intended to submit this drawing to the Draw This Again Challenge at dA (inspired by a popular meme), but I didn’t get it done in time.

It’s my characters, E’lari and Aliyah, doing their thing, sitting in the garden, observing the strapping young groundskeepers . . . or something.

Had this song stuck in my head for a while now. Been thinking about drawing something for it for just as long.

I really like how the hand-drawn lettering turned out. It was an experiment, based on the type of stuff you usually see in tattoo designs as well as those elaborately drawn on chalkboards.
